Itinerary

Day 1-2: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, transfer to Arusha

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Note: We have a dedicated flight partner in the US who can help you find and book the best international flights for you.

On arrival you will be met and transferred to your lodge, settling in after your flights.

Overnight: Katambuga House (1 night)

Day 2-4: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you'll meet your experienced guide for a short briefing, before departing for the Tarangire National Park for a day of game viewing. Head to your camp in the afternoon, with time to settle in before dinner. (BLD)

Overnight: Acacia Tarangire Luxury Camp (2 nights)

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

Today, you have a full day in Tarangire. You can either set off for a full day, taking picnic lunches with you, or enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive with lunch at the camp.

Day 4-5: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you'll depart for the Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive, stopping at the village of Mto was Mbu for a cultural visit en route. Late afternoon, you'll drive into the Ngorongoro highlands to your lodge.

Overnight: Ngorongoro Farm House (1 night)

Dy 5-7: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you'll continue your journey to the Serengeti plains, and to your camp. You'll enjoy a game drive en route, and settle into your camp before dinner.

Overnight: Hippo Trails Camp (2 nights)

Day 6: Serengeti National Park

Spend today enjoying game drives in the endless Serengeti plains.

Day 7-8: Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you'll retrace your steps to the Ngorongoro Highlands and descend to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for a thrilling game drive, with picnic lunches. Late afternoon, you'll return to the crater rim and to your final lodge.

Overnight: Ngorongoro Farm House (1 night)

Day 8: Return Home

After breakfast, you'll be transferred to Arusha where you'll stop for lunch at a local restaurant. You'll then be taken to the Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight arrangements (flights to be booked after 5pm). We hope you will be leaving Tanzania with some incredible memories and photos of your time here.
