Day 1-3: The Adventure Begins

Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, Kenya. Note: We have a dedicated flight partner who can help you find and book the best international flights for you.

On arrival, you'll be collected and transferred to your lodge, settling in after your flights. 

Overnight: Karen Blixen Coffee Garden and Cottages (2 nights)

Day 2: Nairobi Highlights

After breakfast, visit the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and Giraffe Centre, along with a historical visit to the Karen Blixen Museum. You'll return to your lodge in the afternoon, with the evening at leisure. 

Day 3-6: Masai Mara

Following breakfast, you'll be transferred to the domestic airport (Wilson) and board a light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara, and to your classic tented camp. You'll arrive with time to settle in before lunch, heading out in the afternoon for a game drive in the private Mara North Conservancy. 

Overnight: Kicheche Mara (3 nights)

Day 4-5: Masai Mara

You have two days to enjoy shared morning and afternoon game drives in the private conservancy. You have the option for a guided bush walk and community visit during your stay. 

Day 6-9: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airstrip and board a light aircraft flight to Serengeti, Tanzania. Immigration is completed at the Migori / Tarmine border. Upon arriving in the Serengeti plains, you'll be transferred to your camp, enjoying a short game drive en route. Settle into your stunning new surroundings. 

Overnight: Lemala Mara (3 nights)

Day 7-8: Serengeti National Park

You'll spend these two days enjoying shared morning and afternoon game drives in the northern Serengeti plains, a world-renowned wildlife area. 

Day 9-11: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you'll return to the airstrip and board a further light aircraft southwards, to the Ngorongoro Highlands. At the airstrip, you'll be met by your guide and taken for a cultural visit to the traditional working village of Mto wa Mbu. Arrive at your lodge later this afternoon, with some time at leisure. 

Overnight: The Plantation Lodge (2 nights)

Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater

You have a thrilling wildlife experience today with a game drive at the Ngorongoro Crater. You'll have breakfast and depart for the crater rim, descending to the floor of the crater for an epic game drive, and picnic lunch. Return to the rim of the crater this afternoon, and back to your lodge. 

Day 11-13: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you'll depart the highlands and head for your final safari lodge and the Tarangire National Park. You'll spend the day on a game drive once you enter the park, driving with your guide and private vehicle. You'll spend your final 2 nights in a gorgeous tented lodge. 

Overnight: Tarangire Elephant Springs Camp (2 nights)

Day 12: Tarangire National Park

Today is spent with your guide game driving throughout Tarangire in your private vehicle. 

Day 13: Return Home

After breakfast, you'll enjoy a final game drive as you leave Tarangire and head to Arusha. The drive is around 3 hours, and you'll stop for lunch and some time for souvenir shopping, before being transferred to the Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight arrangements (flights to be booked after 5pm).
