Itinerary
Day 1-2
Own flight arrangements to Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. Note: We have a dedicated flight partner in the US who can help you find and book the best international flights for you.
On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your lodge, settling in after your flights.
Overnight: Arumeru River Lodge (1 night)
Day 2-4
After breakfast, you'll enjoy a guided rainforest walk followed by lunch at your lodge. You'll then depart for the Tarangire National Park, enjoying an afternoon game drive inside the park. Head to your camp, with time to freshen up before dinner. (BLD)
Overnight: Maweninga Camp (2 nights)
Day 3
Enjoy a day of morning and afternoon game drives in Tarangire.
Day 4-6
Following breakfast, you'll drive to the Lake Manyara National Park for a day of game viewing, taking picnic lunches with you. Late afternoon, you'll leave the park and drive into the Ngorongoro Highlands to your lodge. Relax before dinner. (BLD)
Overnight: Bashay Rift Lodge (2 nights)
Day 5
Today you have a thrilling game drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying a picnic lunch on the crater floor. You'll return to the crater rim this afternoon and back to your lodge.
Day 6-7
After breakfast, you'll depart for the Serengeti plains, game viewing upon entering the park. Arrive at your camp for lunch. You'll spend the afternoon on a game drive, exploring the central plains of the Serengeti.
Overnight: Ronjo Camp (1 night)
Day 7-10
After breakfast, you'll start your journey north, heading to the northern Serengeti plains and your next camp. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch en route. Settle into your camp before dinner.
Overnight: Mara River Post (3 nights)
Day 8-9
Spend two days enjoying shared morning and afternoon game drives in the northern plains.
Day 10
After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airstrip, bidding farewell to your guides. Board a light aircraft flight to Arusha, where you'll be taken for lunch at a local lodge. You'll then be transferred to the Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight arrangements. We hope you will be leaving Tanzania with some incredible memories and photos of your time here.
